What does this mean for Bee as a company and the Bee products?

Bee continues to be sold and fully supported as a standalone product.

What about my personal data from Bee? Who can access it?

With Bee, you can trust that your personal data is protected and in your control. Only you have access to your transcript and summaries unless you choose to share your data.

Also, we have never stored audio recordings, and this hasn’t changed. All audio recordings are processed in real-time, deleted after processing, never saved or stored.

Will Bee customer transcripts and summaries be shared with other Amazon businesses?

Your transcripts and summaries will never automatically be shared with another service - Amazon or otherwise - without your authorization.

How will the user experience with Bee change?

In the short term, we’ve made several immediate updates to the experience with Amazon’s support:

• A single press of the button easily starts and stops recording.
• Your device’s LED will be green when it is recording and off when it is not.
• By default, the device stops recording after 15 minutes of silence or you can select from a pre-determined list of timer options.

And this is just the beginning — many more updates are on the way.
